PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety needle with a tip and lateral face which are to be covered after puncture.SOLUTION: A medical safety needle includes: a needle body 3 including a tip and lateral face which are insertable into a body; a flexible sheath 5 which is fittable to the needle body and to the lateral face and has a dimension for shielding the lateral face; and a slider 11 which is fitted to the needle body and sheath while sliding thereto so as to move from a first position for exposing a needle tip to a second position for shielding the needle tip, and has a dimension to abut on the sheath while sliding thereto so as to cause the sheath to be fitted to the needle body in moving from the first position to the second position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2A |
