PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sustained-release formulation in which metastin derivative represented by formula (I) of Ac-D-Tyr-Hyp-Asn-Thr-Phe-AzaGly-Leu-Arg(Me)-Trp-NH2 is slowly released for a long period of time, and shows an excellent property as a clinical medicine.SOLUTION: A sustained-release formulation contains a compound (I) and lactic acid-glycolic acid copolymer or salt thereof having weight-average molecular weight of about 5,000 to about 40,000. The sustained release formulation is an excellent formulation as a clinical medicine which shows stable sustained release capability of the compound (I) or salt thereof for a long period of time, further exerts medicinal effect of the compound (I) or salt thereof for a long period of time, and in which convenience of a patient is improved by reducing the number of administration times.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
