METHOD FOR MOUNTING BUILT-IN PART OF BLOW MOLDED ARTICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blow-molded article mounting method that can firmly and easily mount a built-in part in a method for mounting a built-in part of a blow molded article.SOLUTION: A built-in part 10 is formed with a built-in part mounting hole 11. The built-in part 10 is held by a built-in part holding tool 43 of a built-in part holding device 40. The built-in part holding tool 43 is formed with a built-in part holding tool recess 44. A blow molding die 20 is opened and the built-in part holding tool 43 holding the built-in part 10 is inserted into a parison 8 to sandwich the built-in part 10 and the parison 8 between a slide pin 22 and the built-in part holding tool 43. A fluid pressure is added from the slide pin 22 to the parison 8 to make the parison 8 enter into the built-in part holding tool recess 44 via the built-in part mounting hole 11, and the parison 8 entering into the built-in part holding tool recess 44 is pressed against the inner surface of the built-in part holding tool recess 44 by the fluid pressure to form an exterior wall swollen part 7a of a blow molded article.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
