PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for assembling a shell type needle bearing which can be manufactured in a method requiring no plating step while using a resin cage.SOLUTION: The method for assembling the shell type needle bearing eliminating the need for the plating step as seen in the prior art is actualized by using the diameter-contractable cage, and incorporating the cage and a needle after applying molding and heating treatment to both flange parts of a shell outer ring. The cage is not subjected to thermal effects due to the heating treatment, and so a resin material can be used as a material for the cage.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
