<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus for suppressing occurrence of a void in a region where edges different in colors are adjacent when an edge correction processing for detecting the edge and reducing a writing exposure amount is performed and to provide an image forming method and an image forming program. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes: detecting means for detecting an edge region from image data for each color plate; converting means for converting a pixel value in the edge region into a value of a signal, which is equivalent to an exposure amount of a laser beam; and determining means for determining whether the edge region is adjacent to the edge region of the color plate of a color different from a color of a target pixel in the edge region. The converting means sets the value of the signal, which is equivalent to the exposure amount of the laser beam, on the basis of a determination result by the determining means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
