The present invention relates to an insulation material used for an external insulation method. The insulation material is formed into a hexahedron composed of a front surface, a rear surface opposite to the front surface, a first lateral surface, a second lateral surface opposite to the first lateral surface, a third surface adjoining to the first and second lateral surfaces, and a fourth lateral surface opposite to the third lateral surface. Multiple first protrusions protrude from the first lateral surface at predetermined intervals to have a predetermined cross-sectional shape. Multiple second coupling grooves recessed to correspond to the shape of the first protrusions are formed on positions of the second lateral surface corresponding to the first protrusions formed on the first lateral surface. A third protrusion protrudes from the third lateral surface to have a predetermined cross-sectional shape. A fourth groove recessed to correspond to the shape of the third protrusion is formed on a position of the fourth lateral surface corresponding to the third protrusion formed on the third lateral surface. The insulation materials stacked up one after another are longitudinally and transversely connected by the first and third protrusions and the second and fourth grooves coupled together in a female and male coupling manner. |
