The present invention relates to a system and a method of estimating a stand height based on a digital aerial image to extract and estimate a stand height by using a digital aerial image most familiar to a clinical reader as a main data source. According to the present invention, a device for estimating a stand height generates an epipolar image from a digital aerial image, calculates a digital surface model (DSM) from the generated epipolar image, reclassifies the DSM to extract a digital terrain model (DTM) after converting the DSM into a point cloud, and then calculates a difference between the DSM and the DTM to generate a normalized digital surface model (nDSM) including height information of a geographic feature including a tree height. |
