LIFEBOAT EQUIPPED WITH EMERGENCY ESCAPE SLIDE

The present invention relates to a lifeboat equipped with an emergency escape slide, which comprises: a container which accommodates a compressed slide on an upper plane of a hull; an inflator which supplies an inflation gas to unfold the slide accommodated in the container; the slide which is inflated by the inflation gas supplied from the inflator and is unfolded in a catenary shape during unfolding; and a totally-enclosed lifeboat which has a space for a number of passengers to board at an end of the slide container, and has closed both sides and upper plane. Because the slide is formed in the catenary shape having a fixed circular arc, the passengers can escape safely even though the lifeboat is far from the hull. When the passengers escape to the lifeboat using the slide, the passengers can escape more rapidly and safely because the slide can maintain proper tension. The lifeboat can be floated very rapidly according as the slide and the lifeboat are unfolded by the inflation gas. And a number of passengers can escape safely and rapidly from a danger.
