FIELD: chemistry.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biochemistry, particularly to a transgenic plant having resistance to corn rootworms (Diabrotica spp.), comprising DNA which codes the Cry3Aa protein and DNA which codes the Cry6Aa protein, seeds and a cell thereof, as well as to a method of slowing down the development of resistance to the Cry3Aa and Cry6Aa proteins in corn rootworms using the same. The invention also discloses a plurality of plants on a field, comprising a plurality of the said transgenic plants and Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt)-free plant proteins (non-Bt plants), and a mixture of seeds comprising seeds of non-Bt plants and a plurality of the said seeds. The invention relates to a method of controlling corn rootworm by bringing the said worm into contact with the Cry3Aa protein and the Cry6Aa protein.EFFECT: invention provides the effective control of corn rootworms.20 cl, 2 dwg, 1 tbl 12 ex |
