The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for producing a fiber reinforced polymer (FRP) rebar. According to the present invention, a maximum amount of fibers for FRP rebar core materials are put into a resin impregnation tank so that a resin can interfuse into the fibers for the FRP rebar core materials. The resin-interfused fibers for the FRP rebar core materials are then covered by a peel ply and is inserted into a mold so as to mold an FRP rod. As unevenness of the peel ply is imprinted on a surface of the FRP rod, the surface area increases, and the FRP rebar is produced by heat-curing the surface-enlarged FRP rod using a heating unit mounted on the mold. |
