<p>The invention relates to a process for plastic deformation of semi-finished products for the railway mono-block wheels, which provide an optimal deformation level for all the wheel elements: hoop, membranes and hub, and improved fibres in the hoop, determining the dendritic structures crumbling, the forging ratio improvement and implicitly, the material compactness and granulation. According to the invention, the process has the following stages: stage (1) - unscaling the starting semi-finished product, stage (2) - upsetting the semi-finished product on a press of 63 MN, stage (3) - deforming the semi-finished product in profiled tools with impressing in the hub area, by using a press of 63 MN, stage (4) - forging the semi-finished product, with closed moulding, at sizes close to the finished product sizes, on a press of 90 MN, stage (5) - laminating in vertical position with the computer adjusted axes on a vertical rolling mill, stage (6) - calibrating the wheel and punching the same in the hub area on a press of 20 MN.</p> |
