The objective of the present invention is to provide a tightening device of an insulated trolley wire having a comparatively simple structure and comprising higher construction ability. The tightening device (10) comprises: a base part (1) for maintaining a first end part (21a) of a first insulated trolley wire (21) by a first maintaining part (1a); an insulator part (2) for maintaining a second end part (22a) of a second insulated trolley wire (22) by a second maintaining part (2a); and a spring member (3) which gives elastic force to the insulator part (2) in a direction of approaching the first maintaining part (1a) and the second maintaining part (2a). The base part (1) accommodates the insulator part (2) movably, along a direction where the elastic force is given by the spring member (3). A pair of spring members (3) are arranged, through a virtual reference line (24) extended in an arrangement direction of the first maintaining part (1a) and the second maintaining part (2a).
