PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hand-held collar cut-off tool that removes an auxiliary endoscope assembly with an elastic collar from an endoscope.SOLUTION: A hand-held collar cut-off tool 330 that removes an auxiliary endoscope assembly with an elastic collar 304 from an endoscope comprises: a hand-held collar cut-off tool body; a cut-off edge 334 which is associated with the cut-off tool body to cut off the elastic collar 304; and a spacer 332 which projects from the hand-held collar cut-off tool body so as to be inserted between the elastic collar 304 and the endoscope in order to space the endoscope from the elastic collar 304 and from the cut-off edge 334.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7O
