A signal processing circuit for a digital microphone (10) is proposed, by means of which the signal of a digital microphone (10) can also be used for sensor functions without impair the microphone functions supported by a central processing unit, and independently of the operating state of this central processing unit (20). The digital microphone (10) is activated via a clock (CLK) signal and then provides at least one serial bit stream synchronously to this CLK signal as a microphone signal. The signal processing circuit comprises an application processor (20) that can optionally be activated, which obtains and processes the microphone signal for at least one microphone application. According to the invention, at least one controllable signal processor (300) is connected between the digital microphone (10) and the central processing unit (20), so that the signal processor (300) can access the serial bit stream of the digital microphone (10), and so that the signal processor (300) can optionally generate a CLK signal for the digital microphone (10). |
