PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric connector that enables smooth operation of an actuator, can prevent departure of the actuator from a housing and has excellent uniformity in contact pressure of a contact to a flat plate type signal transmission medium.SOLUTION: An electric connector 100 comprises a housing 10 having an insert portion 11 containing a flat plate type signal transmission medium therein and plural groove portions arranged side by side, and plural contacts 20x, etc. which are provided in the plural grooves to be alternately arranged in the forward and reverse directions, and an actuator 30 arranged on the opposite side to the insert portion 11 so as to be capable of rising and falling. The contacts 20x, etc. have join portions 22 erected from fixed beams 21, movable beams 23 which can be inclined like a seesaw with the joint portions 22 serving as fulcrums, and connection portions 24 formed at one end portions of the fixed beams 21. First projection portions 25, 26 projecting to the fixed beam 21 are provided at both the end portions of the movable beam 23.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
