Exemplary embodiments are directed towards an automated electric rice maker. The automated electric rice maker comprising a storage compartment (110) comprising: a water container (102) for supplying water for cleaning rice and making rice and a rice container (101) for storing rice to be used in rice making; a processing compartment (111) positioned below the storage compartment (110) comprising a processor (117) configured to process the rice collected from the rice container (101) using the water collected from water container (102); a cooking compartment (112) positioned below the processing compartment (111) configured to accommodate a rice vessel (118), whereby the rice vessel (118) receives processed rice from the processing compartment and water from the water container (102) for making rice; and a bottom compartment (152) comprising a heating coil (119), whereby the rice vessel (118) positioned on the heating coil (119) and the heating coil (119) generates a temperature required for making the rice.
