The present invention relates to a liquid composition for cleaning the hair and scalp, comprising a mixture of anionic surfactants, a non-ionic surfactant, a humectant and a liposome, all thereof derived from renewable natural sources. The cleaning composition is derived from renewable sources permitting the same to perform as well in terms of cleaning, foam and irritation potential, without the use of raw materials derived from petrochemical sources.
