A method for manufacturing a solar cell including a screen printing step for applying a paste containing a conductive material constituting the electrode material to the electrode-formation surface of a substrate, via a printing mask corresponding to an electrode shape having a bus electrode part and a grid electrode part, wherein the method for manufacturing the solar cell is characterized in that the screen printing step includes a step for applying the paste using the printing mask, there being used in the printing mask a screen mesh woven by arranging a larger number of filaments in the bus electrode part than in the grid electrode part.
