According to the present invention, an arc extinguishing device for a circuit breaker forms a spacing unit, between a case and a grid fixed to the case, to block heat transfer. As a result, the arc extinguishing device can prevent high heat from being transmitted to the case through the grid. Thus, the arc extinguishing device can preclude heat deformation which occurs, when the case is extinguished. In addition, the spacing unit is formed to have a groove shape to swiftly discharge plasma, generated during an extinguishing process, to effectively prevent the case from being deformed by heat. |
