The present invention relates to a wire assembly for a rotary electric machine including a plurality of phase coils (P1 to P6). Each of the phase coils (P1 to P6) is inserted into a slot (18) set exclusive for a stator (10). Each of the phase coils (P1 to P6) includes: a first part (61) having an input unit (I1 to I6), and a second part (62) having an output unit (O1 to O6). The first part (61) and the second part (62) relates to the wire assembly for a rotary electric machine configuring distribution waveform winding. Each of the phase coils (P1 to P6) includes a U-turn part (63) for connecting the first part (61) and the second part (62) to form each of the phase coils (P1 to P6) with a single wire (23).
