PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable high pressure fuel pump capable of effectively suppressing mixing in of burrs into a fuel passage resulting from the mounting of a fluid control unit.SOLUTION: A high pressure fuel pump includes a pump body, a plunger, and a discharge valve unit 14. The discharge valve unit 14 includes an outer cylinder member 31 having a screw joint part 31s screw-joined to a pump body unit 22, and an inner end part 31a opposed to the pump body unit 22 in the axial direction, and an inner cylinder member 33 fitted to the outer cylinder member 31, and having a flange part 33b pressed between the inner end part 31a of the outer cylinder member 31 and the pump body unit 22. The flange part 33b of the inner cylinder member 33 has an annular first seal face portion 34 pressed against the inner end part 31a of the outer cylinder member 31, and an annular second seal face portion 35 pressed against the pump body unit 22. The first seal face portion 34 is arranged on the further radially inward side than the second seal face portion 35. |
