The invention modifies the known device - food tongs with shifting arms - making food tongs with shifting arms more reliable and handy and requiring less space for storage. With this purpose cams are formed on the hind part of the upper arm of tongs, and a palm-wide cover is fixed on the hind part of the lower arm of tongs. The cover covers the hind part of the upper arm and limits its movement forth and back as well as apart from the lower arm preventing decoupling of arms and loss of roller when the rubber coil is broken. Cuping tongs from cover the contact of upper arm and palm and irritation of palm skin by movement of upper arm is prevented. A cusp formed on the cover interlocks with the cum on the upper arm enables locking arms close to each other where tongs need less space for storage. |
