The present invention relates to an ecological water channel and, more specifically, to an ecological water channel which can create ecological environment, a side expansion structure for the same, and a construction method thereof. According to the present invention, the ecological water channel includes: a water channel body having a water channel inside; and a side expansion structure including an inlet unit connected to the water channel and having an access space located in the outside in the width direction of the water channel body, and a living organism inhabitation unit having a living organism space connected to the access space and located under the inlet unit. |
