An air conditioner for a vehicle of the present invention comprises: an air conditioning case in which an air inlet is formed around an inlet and a defrost vent, a face vent, and a seat foot vent are formed around an outlet; a console duct which is mounted on the rear wall surface of the air conditioning case in order to move blowing air flowing in an air path in the air conditioning case toward the rear side and has a rear vent formed to discharge the blowing air to the rear side; an evaporator which is installed in the air conditioning case and thermally exchanges blowing air flowing into the inlet of the air conditioning case; a heater core which exchanges cool air of being thermally exchanged in the evaporator, with hot air; and a seat foot duct which induces blowing air discharged from the seat foot vent to the indoor seat of the vehicle. The seat foot duct includes: a lower case which is mounted on the air conditioning case and is connected with the seat foot vent; and an upper case which is combined with the upper part of the lower case. In the air conditioner for a vehicle, the inlet pipe and outlet pipe of the heater core drawn out to the outside of the air conditioning case are fixated by the lower case. Thus, the present invention is able to: reduce assembly works by reducing the number of components as an extra cover for fixating the inlet and outlet pipes becomes unnecessary by fixating the inlet pipe and outlet pipe of the heater core drawn out toward the outside of the air conditioning case with the lower case of the seat foot duct inducing blowing air to the indoor seat of the vehicle; and prevent noise generated when the lower case shakes by stably fixating the lower case with the air conditioning case by using a fastening part and a fastening end.
