According to an embodiment of the present invention, an image data providing method is executed in an image data providing device. The method comprises the following steps of: analyzing each frame included in image data to generate frame analysis result data; inserting the frame analysis result data into a bit stream of a corresponding frame; and providing the image data to an image data receiving device. Therefore, the present invention inserts the analysis result data about the image data into the bit stream of the image data and provides the data to the image data receiving device so as to display a specific event on the image data without enabling the image data receiving device to analyze the image data, thereby preventing time for analyzing the image data from being consumed.
