The high-pressure tank is equipped with: a container body (10) that is composed of a body portion (11) and a dome portion (12) provided at both ends of the body portion; and a reinforcing layer (20) that is formed by winding a fibrous member around the outer periphery of the container body. The reinforcing layer is equipped with: a hoop winding layer (40) that is formed by hoop winding in which the fibrous member is wound at an angle substantially perpendicular to the central axis of the body portion; and a high helical winding layer (30) that is formed by high helical winding in which the fibrous member is wound, encompassing the dome portions as well, at an angle that is inclined to the central axis more than the hoop winding. The high helical winding layer has thick-walled portions, which are each formed so that the thickness of the portion thereof outward of the boundary position between the body portion and a respective dome portion is greater than that of the portion thereof located on the body portion. The hoop winding layer is formed as a layer on the outer diameter side of the high helical winding layer and extends from the body portion to the dome portions on which the thick-walled portions are formed. |
