<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To raise a degree of freedom of arrangement of an area where approach of a detection object is detected. <P>SOLUTION: A keyboard part has a key layout body in which a plurality of columns of input keys arranged at intervals in a first direction are laid out at intervals in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction. A plurality of first wiring electrodes are arranged among input keys at intervals in the first direction, and in which capacitance changes by approach of a detection object. A plurality of second wiring electrodes are arranged among columns of the input keys in the first direction, and in which the capacitance changes by the approach of the detection object. A setting part detects the approach of the detection object to the wiring electrodes based on the capacitance of at least one wiring electrode among the plurality of first wiring electrodes and the plurality of second wiring electrodes, and sets a coordinate detection area consisting of a part of the first wiring electrodes and a part of the second wiring electrodes, and for inputting coordinate information on the basis of a position of the wiring electrode where the approach of the detection object is detected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
