<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a conventional imaging apparatus in which recording of an image file is sometimes hindered by recording of positional information as a log file. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus comprises: image recording means which performs image recording processing for recording an image on a recording medium; positioning means which acquires positional information from an external device; and position recording means which records the positional information as the log file on the recording medium.
