<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toothbrush having excellent hardness, durability, and usability as a toothbrush, making filaments planted in a bristle planting bed hard to slip off, and also improving stain removing performance. <P>SOLUTION: The toothbrush includes a brush part formed by planting a plurality of bristle tufts on the bristle planting bed. The filament constituting the bristle tuft includes: a core part 2 formed of synthetic resin fiber; and a sheath part 3 integrally covering the core part 2 and formed of elastomer having compatibility with synthetic resin forming the core part 2. The bristle tuft including a core-sheath conjugate filament 1 having a square cross-section orthogonal to the longitudinal direction is used. As the bristle tuft planted on the center side of the bristle planting bed, the bristle tuft formed by a plurality of core-sheath conjugate filaments 1 is used, and as the bristle tuft planted on the outer peripheral side of the bristle planting bed, the bristle tuft formed by binding a plurality of mono filaments made of hard synthetic resin is used. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
