The heat exchanger (1) comprises two electrical resistance positive temperature coefficient (PTC) heating elements (2) which are stacked in a stacking direction (9) and are electrically and conductively connected to a conductor (4). The conductor is arranged between the PTC heating elements in the stacking direction. The conductor comprises conductor plates (5,6) to conduct electric current through the PTC heating elements such that the PTC heating elements are heated.
