<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an axial core member of a strip sheet in which accurate alignment is not necessary to appropriately perform data communication for a data carrier when an axial core member which is wound with a strip sheet and on which a data carrier is provided is supported by a support shaft. <P>SOLUTION: An axial core member 25 comprises: a cylindrical member 251 both ends of which are open, and which can be wound with an adhesive sheet S on its outer peripheral and a hollow part of which a support shaft 221 can be inserted into; and an intermediate wall 252 provided inside the cylindrical member 251.
