PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable displacement piston pump the number of components of which can be reduced.SOLUTION: A variable displacement piston pump 1 includes a rotating shaft 5 rotatably supported by a pump housing 2 via a first bearing part 3 and a second bearing part 4. The second bearing part 4 is smaller than the first bearing part 3. In the pump housing 2, a cylinder block 10 and a swash plate 11 are housed. In a region of the cylinder block 10 at the side close to a valve plate 16, a rotating shaft coupling part 12 is provided for coupling the cylinder block 10 to the rotating shaft 5 in an integrally rotatable manner. A piston 14 housed in each cylinder bore 13 of the cylinder block 10 is fitted into a shoe 19 closely contacting the swash plate 11. Each shoe 19 is fixed to a pivot 22 via a retainer 21. Between the cylinder block 10 and the pivot 22, a spring 36 is arranged for energizing the pivot 22 to the side of the swash plate 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
