PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce pressure pulsation without size increase and make it possible to cool a motor even in an operation state in which a compression chamber is not allowed to attract an intermediate pressure fluid.SOLUTION: A casing 30 of a compressor includes: an intake port 1b attracting a low-pressure fluid compressed by a compression chamber 15; and an intermediate-pressure intake port 1c attracting an intermediate-pressure fluid higher in pressure than the low-pressure fluid. A motor chamber 30a accommodating a motor 20 and communicating with the intermediate-pressure intake port 1c, an intermediate-pressure fluid passage 129 for merging the intermediate-pressure fluid in the motor chamber 30a with the fluid in the process of being compressed in the compression chamber 15, low-pressure spaces 36, 341 lower in pressure than the intermediate-pressure fluid attracted from the intermediate-pressure intake port 1c, and communication passages 131, 141 communicating the low-pressure spaces 36, 341 with the motor chamber 30a, respectively are formed in the casing 30, and the compressor further includes opening/closing means 132, 142 opening or closing the communication passages 131, 141.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
