PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar battery module that can efficiently and surely discharge rain water pooled on the light receiving face of a solar battery panel.SOLUTION: A frame-like frame 10A has an upper surface portion covering the light-receiving face of a solar battery panel (panel) 20, a side surface portion covering the side surface of the panel 20 and an intermediate surface portion covering the non-light-receiving face of the panel 20 which are connected to one another to have a U-shaped cross-section vertical to the extension direction, and also has a drain cut-out portion 12. The drain cut-out portion 12 is cut out over an area extending from the inner end portion of the frame-like frame 10A at the upper surface portion to some position in the height direction of the side surface portion at the side surface portion. A bottom surface 13 of the drain cut-out portion 12 at the side surface portion is configured so that the inner end portion of the frame-like frame 10A at the bottom surface 13 is located at the same position as the light-receiving face of the solar battery panel 20 or at a lower position than the light-receiving face in the height direction of the side surface portion, and decreases in height from the inside to the outside of the frame-like frame 10A in the thickness direction of the side surface portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
