PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cellulosic material that can be suitably used for manufacturing a member excellent in strength or the like while having characteristics of cellulose, and to provide a member (cellulosic member) excellent in strength or the like while having characteristics of cellulose.SOLUTION: The cellulosic material of the present invention comprises a cellulose derivative. The cellulose derivative includes a reactive functional group; and the reactive functional group can bond molecular chains of the cellulose derivative by a covalent bond. The cellulose derivative preferably includes a carbon-carbon double bond. The cellulose derivative preferably reacts with a siloxane compound having two or more S-H bonds in the molecule.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
