The present invention relates to a method and system for the induction heat treatment of a metal part on a target area. According to the method, heat treatment is carried out using a thermal element mounted on a robotised system which is suitable for moving the thermal element along a cyclical path on a target area such as to heat the target area and minimise the temperature differences over the target area.
