A device (1) for removing connecting elements (10) from workpieces (12) is disclosed. Two counter-rotating motor-driven tools (5) consisting of a receiving element (8) and a truncated cone (9) are disposed on a bearing housing (7) in such a way that axes of rotation (4) of the tools (5) define an acute angle (α), and a generating line (6) of one of the truncated cones (9) runs substantially parallel to a generating line (6) of the other truncated cone (9).
