PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaning apparatus which can supply chlorine dioxide to relatively wide area and in which damage due to chlorine dioxide can be suppressed.SOLUTION: The air cleaning apparatus for cleaning air by supplying chlorine dioxide into the atmosphere is provided that comprises a package 10 in which substance generating chlorine dioxide is housed, a case 1 housing the package 10 therein, and airflow generating means which is provided in the case 1 and generates airflow from the inside of the case 1 to the outside of the case 1. In the case 1, a suction port ip which introduces air into the case 1, a discharge port op which is formed at an upper position than the suction port ip and discharges air to the outside of the case 1, and an air flow channel F connecting the suction port with the discharge port. The airflow generating means includes an airflow generation part which is arranged in the air flow channel F and generates airflow in the air flow channel F. In the air flow channel F, a housing part FA housing the package 10 is provided between the airflow generation part and the discharge port op.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
