PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Geiger-Muller counter tube and radiation meter, which allow for making measurements easily and offer high radiation detection sensitivity.SOLUTION: A Geiger-Muller counter tube (110) comprises a cylindrical sealed tube (111) having a hermetically sealed space (114) therein, a rod-like anode electrode (124) located inside the space, a cylindrical cathode electrode (121) surrounding the anode electrode inside the space and having openings, and inert gas and quench gas encapsulated in the space, where at least either of the anode electrode and the cathode electrode is provided in plurality in the sealed tube.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
