PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airbag device that suppresses the head of an occupant from rolling on a surface of a bag body when an obstacle collides a vehicle from obliquely front direction.SOLUTION: A bag body, which comprises a front part that is inflated and expanded rearward, a left side part that is inflated and expanded rearward from a left edge part of the front part and a right side part that is inflated and expanded rearward from a right edge part of the front part, is brought into a pressed state where a front face of the head of an occupant, displaced obliquely forward by impact applied to a vehicle from obliquely forward, presses the surface of the front part and a side face of the head presses the surface of the left side part or of the right side part. In the pressed state, a first direction moment, in which the head is made to rotate in a first direction by normal force and kinetic friction force which the front face of the head receives from the front part, is generated; and a second direction moment, in which the head is made to rotate in an opposite direction of the first direction by the normal force and the kinetic friction force which the side face of the head receives from the left side part or the right side part, is generated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
