PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine capable of strongly applying water jetted from a water supply nozzle to laundry and spreading the water.SOLUTION: The washing machine comprises a water supply nozzle (6) for supplying water into a rotary tub. The water supply nozzle (6) has a nozzle body (61) provided with a flow path (L1) through which water flows and a swirling element (63) arranged in the flow path L1 for generating a swirl flow. The flow path (L1) has a throttle part (L2) provided on the upstream side of the swirling element (63) and broadened parts (L3, L4) provided on the downstream side of the throttle part (L2) and on the upstream side of the swirling element (63) and having a flow path cross section larger than the flow path cross section of the throttle part (L2).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9 |
