PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical wiring component and an optical waveguide assembly with which it is possible to position the end face of each optical waveguide with high accuracy, and a method for manufacturing the optical wiring component with which it is possible to position each optical waveguide together with high accuracy.SOLUTION: An optical wiring component 10 has four sheet-like optical waveguides 3, and a fixation part 4, provided between each optical waveguide 3 in a state in which each optical waveguide 3 is stacked together in their thickness direction, for fixing portions near the one end of each optical waveguide 3 together. The fixation part 4 shifted closer to the other end side than to the one end face of each optical waveguide 3. Each optical waveguide 3 has flexibility, and a portion 36 of each optical waveguide 3 located closer to the one end side than is the fixation part 4 is displaceable in the thickness direction of each optical waveguide 3.
