The present invention relates to a portable honey comb cutter, comprising: a thermoelectric module which is heated and cooled by one side and the other side as heat is instantly absorbed at low temperature and dissipated at high temperature from the respective sides; upper and lower blades which are respectively in contact with the upper portion of the one side and the lower portion of the other side to cut honey comb into a desired size and shape; a fixed substrate arranged to allow the thermoelectric module and the upper and lower blades to be detachable; and a handle on which the fixed substrate is mounted connectively and which has a battery cell, a transfer switch and a charging jack therein. When cutting honey comb, the one side of the thermoelectric module is cooled as heat is absorbed while the other side of the thermoelectric module is heated as heat is dissipated. When the blade is in contact with the heat-dissipating side of the thermoelectric module, high temperature is maintained instantly to melt the honey comb to be firstly cut off without making any crumbles. By switching the transfer switch, the firstly-cut honeycomb then can be cut into a smaller size by using the heated blade, in the opposite side, of which heat is dissipated, thus, honeycomb can be cut accurately and neatly into the size and shape that a consumer desires so as to minimize the waste of material. |
