Disclosed are an apparatus and a method for controlling a mobile terminal based on vehicle information. The apparatus for controlling a mobile terminal based on vehicle information comprises: an interface unit for receiving information on a vehicle model from a vehicle terminal connected to the mobile terminal, and assigning a level based on the information on the vehicle model; and a processor for determining available functions in accordance with the level, and controlling an operation of the mobile terminal based on the available functions. |
