PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joined body capable of achieving the improvement of joining strength and the improvement of joining reliability, and a method for producing the same.SOLUTION: Provided is a joined body 1a comprising: ceramics 2; a metallic member 3 formed by copper; a metallized layer 4 formed on the ceramics 2; and a joined part 5 formed between the metallized layer 4 and the metallic member 3. The joined part 5 includes: a first joined part 51 within a projection region to the thickness direction of the metallized layer 4; and a second joined part 52 surrounding the first joined part 51 and the metallized layer 4. The first joined part 51 is formed of a first joining material. The second joined part 52 is formed of a second joining material having a thermal expansion coefficient lower than that of the first joining material. The second joining material is formed of an Ag based joining material.
