This heat exchanger is provided with a heat exchange section (10) comprising: groups of flat pipes (11A and 11B) arranged in multiple columns with an intercolumnar space therebetween in a heat exchanger depthwise direction; and a corrugated fin (12) that is shared between the groups of flat pipes (11A and 11B) arranged in multiple columns. The groups of flat pipes (11A and 11B) are constituted from a plurality of flat pipes (11) positioned so as to stand in the direction of gravity. The corrugated fin (12) is shared between the groups of flat pipes (11A and 11B) arranged in multiple columns, and a portion of the corrugated fin (12) between the columns of the groups of flat pipes (11A and 11B) has a first drainage portion (17) in communication with the intercolumnar space (16).
