Essence of the invention: proposed herein as a therapeutic agent intended to overcome multiple drug resistance is a hexapeptide with the following structural formula: lysyl-histidyl-glycyl-lysyl-histidyl-glycine.

A method for preventing or treating multiple drug resistance in a patient comprising administering an effective amount of a therapeutic agent comprising a hexapeptide with the following structural formula: lysyl-histidyl-glycyl-lysyl-histidyl-glycine (SEQ ID NO: 1) and a target additive prior to and during chemoradiotherapy.
