PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight and inexpensive vehicle seat capable of excellently supporting a head of an occupant by a headrest during a vehicle rear collision.SOLUTION: In right and left side frames 20 in a seat back 16 of a vehicle seat 10, a lower seat back spring 28 and an upper seat back spring 29 are installed. An inclination angle &thetas;1 to a vertical line L1 in a side view of an occupant support section 28A of the lower seat back spring 28 and an inclination angle &thetas;2 to a vertical line L2 in a side view of an occupant support section 29A of the upper seat back spring 29 are within ±10° in a longitudinal direction of the seat back 16 at a seat design reference position of the seat back 16. Reaction force of the lower seat back spring 28 against load acting from the front side of the seat back 16 to the rear side and reaction force of the upper seat back spring 29 are equal. |
