PURPOSE:To improve printed images by transferring thermal-melting ink to a medium to be transferred with a pressure transfer means of three-layer structure with a rigit plate arranged on one surface of a planar elastomer and plural pieces of wire arranged in parallel on the other surface. CONSTITUTION:An ink which is selectively melted by a recording head 11 is transferred to a paper to be transferred 7, held and pressed between a platen 14 and a pressure transfer mechanism 20 together with the paper 7 supplied from a paper feed roller 18. Next an electrothermal transfer film 9 is taken up by a winding roller 16 and the transferred and image printed paper 7 is fed out by a paper guide roller 19. The pressure transfer mechanism 20 is formed by adhering a planar elastomer 22 to one side of a metallic planar support 21 and adhering plural pieces of metallic wire 23 arranged in parallel at equal interval on the surface of the elastomer 22. |
