[Also in Group XXV] A flexible trimming, sealing, &c., strip includes a channel-shaped sheet metal core 1 having transversely disposed longitudinally spaced slots 5 extending through the free edges of the channel thereby defining longitudinally spaced side-wall strap portions 7, the free end portions of at least some of the strap portions being bent inwardly to provide gripping projections 10 for the attachment of the strip to a structure embraced thereby. At least some of the free end portions of the strap portions 7 may be of generally pointed form. The slots 5 may extend from within the base 2 of the channel and the inner ends of the slots may be of generally V-shape. |
